A small group of volunteers packed and distributed 50 food bags to families near Atta Market, Noida. The response was overwhelming — and the mission was born.
About Us
A women-led, grassroots organisation built on compassion, accountability, and a deep belief that every human life has equal worth.
Our Story
Manav Kalyan Society is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to the welfare and upliftment of all human beings. The name itself reflects its purpose—“Manav” meaning human and “Kalyan” meaning welfare. The organization works with a strong belief that every individual deserves respect, dignity, and equal opportunities in life.
The primary goal of Manav Kalyan Society is to help people in need, regardless of their caste, religion, gender, or economic background. It focuses on supporting underprivileged communities by providing essential services such as education, healthcare, and basic necessities. The NGO organizes various programs like free medical camps, awareness drives, and distribution of food and clothing to those who cannot afford them.
Education is one of the key areas where the society contributes significantly. It encourages children from poor families to attend school by providing them with books, uniforms, and scholarships. By promoting education, the organization aims to build a brighter future for the younger generation and help them become independent and responsible citizens.
Healthcare is another important aspect of its work. Many people in rural and economically weaker sections do not have access to proper medical facilities. Manav Kalyan Society steps in by organizing health check-ups, vaccination drives, and awareness campaigns about hygiene and sanitation. These efforts help in improving the overall well-being of the community.
Apart from this, the NGO also works towards women empowerment and social equality. It conducts skill development programs to help women become financially independent and confident. The society believes that empowering women leads to the progress of the entire community.
In conclusion, Manav Kalyan Society plays a vital role in serving humanity. Through its selfless efforts and dedication, it continues to bring positive change in society. Its mission of helping all human beings truly makes it an organization that stands for compassion, equality, and humanity.

Our Journey
How We Grew from
One Idea
What started as one woman’s decision to do something has grown into a movement. Here’s our story.
Manav Kalyan Society was officially registered as an NGO. During COVID-19, we scaled up to feed over 500 families during the lockdown period.
We launched our first formal education support program — free coaching for 60 children from Classes 1–8 in under-served communities.
Launched skill training workshops for women — tailoring, handicraft, and financial literacy. 40 women graduated in the first cohort.
